Troubled Company and Receivership

Jan has over 20 years of experience delivering financial, operational, and compliance consulting services specializing in insurance statutory accounting, solvency, and regulatory compliance matters. She has served as the examiner-in-charge or examination supervisor on over 100 risk-focused examinations, including large, coordinated examinations of all types, and has hands-on experience reviewing the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) filings for several insurers. Jan also performs internal audit and Model Audit Rule (MAR) consulting and internal control and compliance gap assessments. She has also served as a Special Deputy Receiver and worked on a variety of receiverships. Those engagements have included in-depth involvement on a number of health insurer receiverships as well as a bail bond insurer. Additionally, Jan also consults on other specialized troubled company projects.
