Lauren leads the firm’s property/casualty actuarial team and serves as Quality Review Partner providing oversight and directive to her actuarial team on risk-focused examinations, rate and rule applications, market conduct examinations and other special projects. Lauren is directly responsible for client relationships and ensuring high quality service is delivered as well as staffing and scheduling for actuarial projects within the firm. Lauren has over 20 years of experience in the following areas:

Lauren Cavanaugh

Lauren is the current Chair of the American Academy of Actuaries (“AAA”) Volunteer Engagement Subcommittee, Former Vice President, Casualty and Board Member of the AAA and former chair of the AAA Casualty Practice Council, Property and Casualty Committee on Equity and Fairness, and Property & Casualty Risk Based Capital Committee. She has presented at numerous actuarial and industry conferences and has published articles on a wide variety of topics, including insurer use of big data and AI, risk-based capital, long-tail liability estimation, and reinsurance.
