Tricia is responsible for the firm’s overall practice, management and day-to-day operations. In this role, she coordinates, manages, and leads our team of professionals on all aspects of regulatory consulting related assignments. Tricia also leads the firm’s actuarial team, and serves as Quality Review Partner providing oversight and directive to her actuarial team on risk-focused examinations, rate and rule applications, captive application reviews and other special projects. Tricia is directly responsible for client relationships and ensuring high quality service is delivered as well as staffing and scheduling for all actuarial projects within the firm. She has over 20 years of experience in the following areas:

  • Statutory, GAAP, and IFRS financial reporting
  • Demutualizations
  • Captive transactions
  • Rate filing reviews
  • Economic capital analysis
  • Principle-based reserves and capital
  • Financial projections
  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Risk-based capital
  • Reinsurance

In addition, Tricia is a subject matter expert in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Own Risk Solvency Assessment (ORSA)

Thought Leadership

Tricia is a former Chair of the Actuarial Standards Board and the American Academy of Actuaries’ (AAA) ERM and ORSA Committee and Longevity Risk Task Force. She is currently on the AAA Board. Additionally, she co-authored the Academy’s practice notes on embedded value, market consistent embedded value, and a range of US GAAP accounting topics as well as the Society of Actuaries’ Specialty Guide on Economic Capital. She is a frequent speaker on financial reporting and risk management topics.
